Prague to Amsterdam:
Today we set off on a 520 mile journey but having parked the car in a mad rush the night before, we couldn't find our way back to it. Eventually found the car park and after a brief misunderstanding in which we believed the silver heap (Betsy) had been stolen by some blind Czeckoslovakian but were in fact on the wrong parking level, we made our way out of Prague an hour late.
Drive should only have taken about 7 hours, but because our car could not go above 60mph, we did not arrive until 11.30pm! Had just enough time to sample a few local delicacies ;) before heading to bed.
