Day Two

Paris to Munich:

We all woke up this morning with thumping heads and carpet tongues and set off on the open road to Germany.

After about two hours of traffic jams due to Ian W directing us the wrong way, we got onto the motorway. Eventually we came across a toll booth (one of many.) Having not accounted for this, Paul was forced to use his plastic.

Back on track to Munich we must have passed at least 170 French Police vans, not counting the army, though luckily going in the opposite direction to us.

Reached a town called Neufum which is where the Park and Ride was to be found. Parked up and headed to the ticket machine, Half hour after trying to work the machine a stranger appeared, Paul asked in the usual way you ask a foreigner "excuse.. me.. do.. you.. spea.. English"
to which the stranger replied "Yes , I am English"
He then got us the tickets and we eventually got to the Hotel in Munich.
